NURSING ADMINISTRATION
Chief Nursing Officer

   8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekdays

Collects and analyzes data to determine staffing patterns and overall nursing service staffing plans. Uses these data to project staffing needs, to hire personnel, and to ensure that all nursing units are staffed according to patient needs. Makes nursing rounds to assess the quality of patient care to identify problems and needs. Investigates complaints concerning Nursing Service and takes appropriate action. Serves as manager, communicator, and participator in institutional policy development and planning; and as evaluator of nursing care. Coordinates nursing's role and its relationship to other departments in the hospital as well as with the Medical Staff. Develops policies and procedures regarding qualifications and employment of nursing staff members. Serves on committees including but not limited to: Department Head Meetings, Medical Staff Committee (serves as formal liaison with the Medical Staff), Hospital Quality Assurance Committee, Infection Control, Safety, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medical Records, Institutional Planning Meetings, Nursing Quality Assurance, Nursing Policy and Procedure Committee; attends hospital board meetings and in-service education meetings as necessary.

   Current RN License. BSN required-MSN preferred. 5-10 yrs. of nursing management experience.

PATIENT ACCOUNT INSURANCE/PHYSICIAN OFFICE PRACTICES
Revenue Cycle/Physician Clinic Director

   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays

Proficient in computer skills, ic-10 coding; knowledgeable in assignment of revenue and cpt codes, charge master, billing & collections. Experience in physician management a plus. Supervise all hospital business office.

   Minimum 5 years experience in similar position. bs or bba degree required.

HYPERBARICS
LPN

   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays

Responsible for patient care in Hyperbarics including hyperbaric chamber duties, wound care, total patient care, charting, daily checklists, overall proficient knowledge of the clinic, and other duties as assigned by the physician or Hyperbarics Coordinator. Current Louisiana LPN license required. Hyperbaric Medicine Team Training will also be required.

Experienced OB RN

   8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays

Responsible for patient care in OB, including labor, delivery & postpartum. Reports to OB Coordinator. At least one year Labor & Delivery experience and current Louisiana RN license required.

DIETARY
Cafeteria Aide

   6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (VARIABLE)

Works on dietary tray line; washes dishes, pots and pans; sweeps and mops floors; restocks refrigerators and paper supplies; delivers and retrieves meal carts from floors; answers phone; works in cafeteria; operates cash register; other duties as assigned. Must be willing to learn Cardex system.

PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICE
Patient Accounts Representative

   8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekdays

Must have thorough working knowledge of patient records, patient charging, and billing procedures. Opens and distributes mail to all departments. Accounts for all checks and submits accurate totals. Handles industrial accounts, anesthesia payments, liability accounts, bankruptcies, judgments and garnishments. Monitors accounts placed with hospital attorney.
