Dr. Coats is a native of Bastrop and a 1973 graduate of Bastrop High School. He graduated medical school in 1987 at the LSU School of Medicine; he completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at EA Conway in Monroe, LA in 1990. Since 1990, he has practiced in Bastrop and been member of the Morehouse General Hospital medical staff. Dr. Coats is an active member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and has served, in the past, as chief-of-staff and vice-chief-of-staff for MGH several times.

Renita Bryant is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from University of Louisiana in Monroe, Louisiana in 2005 with a BS in Nursing and obtained her MS in Nursing from Grambling State University, Grambling, Louisiana, in 2011. She has been a member of the medical staff at Morehouse General Hospital since 2011 where she manages the Rural Health Clinic, in addition, to providing patient care.

Dr. Walters graduated with a BS in Biochemistry from Tennessee State University, Nashville TN and received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville TN. He did a residency at Hubbard Hospital, Nashville TN in Internal Medicine and a residency in Family Practice at EA Conway, Monroe, LA where he was resident of the year in 2008 and 2009. Dr. Walters worked at EA Conway Hospital in Monroe, LA from 2009 - 2012 as an attending physician and instructor. He has been on staff at Morehouse General Hospital since 2012. Dr. Walters is board certified in Internal Medicine and Family Practice by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Bal Raj Bhandari is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Gastroenterology. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition, in 1995, at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola, New York. Prior to completing his fellowship, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, Bronx, New York in 1992 where he was Chief Medical Resident in 1992. Dr. Bhandari graduated from medical school at the University of Ottawa Medical School, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1987. Dr. Bhandari has done extensive research an published numerous papers in his field with particular emphasis on Hepatitis C.

He is native of Mer Rouge, Louisiana and has called Morehouse Parish "home" for a long time. Dr. Sanders graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 2000, where he was the Chief Resident in 1999-2000. He began practicing in 2000 at EA Conway in Monroe. In addition to his clinical practice, he was also a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he was the Chief of Staff from 2009-2011. There he received an Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2005 and 2011. Dr. Sanders is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He has been a member of the medical staff at Morehouse General Hospital since2012 and is accepting new patients at his private practice in Bastrop, located at 618 South Washington.

He was educated and went to medical school in Hungary and relocated to the U.S. in 1986. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1992. Dr. Guoth has had a private practice in the U.S. for more than 25 years. He currently delivers about 30 babies a month and is considered an authority on high-risk pregnancy. His office and clinical staff have been with Dr. Guoth since his practice opened in Bastrop in 2007. He has been a valued member of the Morehouse General Hospital medical staff for 6 years. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Guoth is currently accepting new patients at his practice in Bastrop, located at 420 South Vine Street.

Dr. Vaughn is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, an d a member of the National Medical Association. She graduated Summa cum laude with a BS from Howard University, Washington DC in 1992. Dr. Vaughn is a graduate of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts where she graduated in 1996. She completed a General Surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio in 1997. In 1999 she graduated with a Masters of Public Health from the Tulane School of Health and Tropical Medicine; and went on to complete a residency in Otolaryngology at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003. Dr. Vaughn is a native of Louisiana; and has been on staff at Morehouse General Hospital since 2014.

Dr. Martin Young has been a physician for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of London and practiced in England for 10 years before returning to the land of his birth in 1989. He completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Children's Hospital of Boston and in 1992 was appointed Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Tulane University Medical School. In 1996 he entered private practice and has held positions in Mandeville, Monroe, Alexandria, Lafayette and most recently in Shreveport at Sutton Children's Medical Center. His practice has included primary care pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric hospitalist medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. He is the former attending physician to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Dr. Young is accredited in both pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology by the Royal College of Physicians, and Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health of the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Diabetes Association, and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
